Reject [chapter nine]
Every thought was cloudy. Your consciousness was fading…you shook your head, only able to see the darkness from the flashback as your body began to feel heavy. Your irises rolled into their eyelids and you collapsed in your guardian's arms. "The darkness…it's so…inviting…"
Your unconscious mind was blissfully unaware of the panic now going on around the room, but that was how you liked it. The ability to let your mind roam free without distractions was something you missed a lot from your old life…
Wandering through the sky…surrounded by the familiar, safe cocoon of light…
"___-san…"
Odd, weak feelings…change…constant change…but with a mind merely able to wander…
"___-san…?"
Darkness…
"___-san…? Can you hear me?"
A weak glow, flickering in the darkness…floating aimlessly…
"Perhaps I will try again later..."
Physical feelings…ice cold, followed by a wave of warmth…curiosity, coursing stronger through you than before…
"It seems as though she cannot hear me…"
An exhilarating feeling…now able to feel the stone floor beneath your feet and smell the cool air around you…
"Ngh…" you murmured, unaware that your previous life had just slowly flashed before your unconscious eyes.
"___-san!" Kiku called out as you awoke from your slumber. "You are awake!"
"K-Kiku, where is he?" you asked, trying to sit up. It seemed as though you were in a bed.
"Do you mean the man you hugged the other day?" Kiku wondered.
"Other day…?"
"You have been unconscious for about three days."
"Is he gone?" you panicked, still trying to sit upright but a surge of dizziness made you flump back down.
"A-Are you okay?" Kiku asked you worriedly. "You should save your energy."
"I'll…be okay…is my guardian…still here?"
"I am afraid your 'guardian' left after the meeting, with everyone else. He entrusted me to look after you, ___-san…so that is what I shall do, to the best of my ability," Kiku said, looking as though he wanted to say more. "I-I…"
You noticed his cheeks turning pink. "Kiku…"
His eyes swiftly met yours as you spoke his name, only seeming to make his blush worse and causing him to look away almost instantly. Kiku still couldn't get his words out.
"What's the matter?" you asked.
"I realise that now is far too soon, of course, but…perhaps one day in the future…you will be able to think of me as your guardian."
A pang in your chest made you feel terrible. "I'm so sorry-"
"No," he interrupted. "You have no reason to be sorry."
"I do," you persisted. "I asked your dog Pochi to take me to your house…if I hadn't, none of this would have happened."
He shook his head. "It was wrong of me to send you to a hotel. When I first saw you in the park…it was hard to believe what I had done. I feel awful for it, but I agreed so it is something I must accept."
His words weren't making any sense. "I…don't understand…"
"It was a little foolish to ask you to think of me as your guardian; for that, I am sorry. I also wish for you to forgive me for sending you to a hotel. I should have taken you to my house and welcomed you properly instead of letting my guilt get to me…I even had the meeting rearranged from my house to this mansion so that if you turned up, we would all be here instead…but you got the letter in time…there is more to it than that, however. Perhaps now is not the time."
"Kiku…it's okay."
"I understand that it will take time to forgive me. I will start making it up to you right away, ___-san."
"There's no need," you insisted, watching his expression; he looked as though he was trying to prepare himself for something.
"…L-Let me take you back to my house. I can take care of you better there."

"... and this answer belongs here..." (Name) had mumbled to herself.
Test taking was not something that came easy to her, (name) got worked up, palms got sweaty, and she could not concentrate. The bell finally rung, relieved to be released from that hell, but (name)'s anxiety only increased throughout the day as she awaited the test results.

"(Name) could I speak to you after class?" The teacher whispered to her as they walked by and dropped the test on (name)'s desk. She sighed long and heavy and awaited for the bell to ring. (Name) walked over to the teacher's desk and waited for a sign to show that they were paying attention.

Pen Pals - Japan (Ch. 1)
You got Japan!
You pick up the red folder with 'Japan' written on it. You smile; Japan had always had a place in your heart. It had been very secluded so no one really knows when Japan was founded. You had been fascinated by their history, culture, and obviously their anime.
"Ah~ Japan! Good choice (Name)! It was blocked off from the rest of the world until the very First World War, so be careful to not mention any wars to your pen pal." Mr. Moe suggested, making you twitch.
'No offence Mr. Moe, but the only offensive thing I would of asked my pan pal would be if he were a ninja. Which would be awesome~!' You slightly laugh at yourself as

Sakura Blossom Hair Pin
Oh no. you think, blushing wildly, No, no, no. You look around, trying to find the silent man. You didn't know why but the stoic man had captured your heart and just the idea of being alone with him frightened you. Before you could think, you were in the closet. Alone. Well, not alone.
You were with Japan.
"Hello, (Y/n)." he nodded at you politely.
"Ja-Japan..." you stare at your hands, trying (and failing) to get your blush under control. "Um, I guess this in yours?" you hold out the hair pin, hoping he can see i
